Sodium percarbonate. Active oxygen

Application

Sodium percarbonate has strong oxidizing properties – thanks to the chemical reaction occurring in water (as a result of decay, hydrogen peroxide is formed, namely: oxygen, water and sodium carbonate), we obtain a cleaning and whitening effect, e.g. cleaning or washing.

As a result of the breakdown of sodium percarbonate in water, hydrogen peroxide is formed. This chemical reaction is used by almost all companies producing washing powders, cleaning preparations and dishwasher tablets.

Washing

Add 2 tablespoons of sodium percarbonate to the laundry, so that white and light fabrics will not turn yellow or gray.

Sodium percarbonate removes tough deposits and stains, m.in. from coffee, tea, wine, vegetables.

To get the best effect you should:

• set the washing temperature to at least 40°C or soak the fabric for several hours in a solution of several tablespoons of sodium percarbonate dissolved in 3-5 liters of warm water, then wash in a washing machine.

  Attention! Sodium percarbonate brightens colors – it can be used for fabrics that do not lose color. It should not be used for washing silk and wool.

  Coffee sludge: pour 3 tablespoons of sodium percarbonate into a dirty container with hot water and leave for 10-15 minutes and rinse thoroughly.

  Cleaning the coffee maker: pour the sodium percarbonate solution (instead of water) and turn on the coffee maker. After the procedure, rinse the machine with clean water.

• With fungal walls, before painting, we clean them with a solution of sodium percarbonate applied to the surface covered by mold with a roller, brush or sponge. Wash the applied solution together with the mold after about 30 minutes.
• Toilet cleaning: pour sodium percarbonate into the toilet bowl (about 10 tablespoons), after a dozen or so minutes, clean with a brush and then rinse.
• For cleaning surfaces, e.g. In the kitchen we use a solution of 3 tablespoons Sodium percarbonate per 1 liter of warm water. In the case of large dirt, the amount of sodium percarbonate in water can be doubled.
• Sodium percarbonate works well in cleaning stains and dirt from surfaces. With a solution of sodium percarbonate (1 tablespoon per 1 liter of warm water) we can clean curtains, white clothes, carpets, curtains.
• Pour a few tablespoons of Sodium Percarbonate into the washing machine or dishwasher, set the program with a temperature of at least 40 ° C and start the device with normal operation mode.
