We checked the quality of water supplied by municipal water supply to our homes. The ppm standard in the USA above 500ppm is considered unfit for consumption. The result of tap water was a surprise, in the era of promoting high (apparently) quality tap water.

We boiled this water and after cooling to room temperature, we tested it again:

Unfortunately. But the test result of the water after boiling still remained bad.

Malaise, recurrent inflammation, disease, according to scientific research, may be related to the consumption, completely unconsciously, of water loaded with such high states of dissolved salts, metals and mobile ions.

We then checked the quality of purchased, bottled water, one of the leading sellers on the Polish market:

The situation is radically different than the previous tap water test.

In this case, from the table we read that it is not still exemplary water, but balancing on the border of mineral water and drinkable raw.

We boiled this water:

Bottled water, after boiling and reaching room temperature, significantly improved its parameters. And from the table we read that there is currently a quality of mineral water, and at least not much is missing from the state of water from the table, ideal for drinking.

Another water test was done in the pond:

For comparison of the results, we also did a water test in the pond.

A very positive surprise. because the water in each place indicated 236-238ppm. After biological and bacteriological purification, this water would be fit for consumption.

The last test was on the aquarium:

Tank 200l. Here, despite the continuous operation of a professional bucket filter, the Tester showed that there are very serious water quality problems in the tank (109ppm x 10)

The result was a devastating 1 090ppm!

When the Tester shows us next to the "x10" icon then to read the correct water value, we multiply the reading value by 10.

We made a water change:

Water was changed in the amount of 40l (water supply after 4 days of standing out)

Things have improved. But it still needs further water changes.
