Resistance to water and falls

The WG-1000 enclosure meets JIS Class 8 waterproof standards, which means it can work up to 15 m underwater for up to an hour. In addition, the camera is dustproof (JIS Class 6) and resistant to falls from a height of up to 2 m, making it a good companion in demanding off-road conditions.

Resistance to disinfection

Pentax WG-1000 is resistant to disinfectants including ethanol, sodium hypochlorite and chlorine dioxide. Thanks to this, it will work not only in the open air, but also in medical facilities or on production lines where frequent cleaning of equipment is required.

Featuring a backlit CMOS sensor with a resolution of 16,35 MP, the WG-1000 offers exceptional image quality with high levels of detail and low noise. Thanks to this, the photos are clear and full of natural colors, even in difficult lighting conditions.

4x optical zoom

The camera lens has 4x optical zoom, covering a focal range from 4,9 mm to 19,6 mm (equivalent to 27-108 mm for 35 mm format). The ability to expand magnification with digital zoom up to 24x allows you to capture both wide landscapes and close-ups of distant objects.

Full HD recording

The camera allows you to record movies in Full HD (1920 x 1080, 30 fps. /s). In addition, it offers High Speed Movie mode, which allows you to record videos in slow motion (640 x 480, 120 fps. /s). A separate recording button makes video recording quick and intuitive.

Automatic continuous shooting

The interval photo function allows you to take a series of photos at specific intervals: every 30 seconds, 1 minute, 5 minutes or 10 minutes. It is a great solution for photographing changing landscapes, cloud movement or dynamic action scenes.

Intelligent self-timer

The WG-1000 offers three self-timer modes: 2 seconds, 10 seconds and the Smile Self-Timer, which automatically takes a picture when a smile is detected. This makes taking a selfie or group photo easier than ever.
