L450 is a semi-professional premium 4-thread overlock. Designed to work not only as part of hobbies and amateur sewing, but also as part of cottage industry and crafts or work in small sewing plants.

These overlocks are equipped with the patent-protected BERNINA MTC system, which guarantees precise setting of the stitch without the need to select the stresses on the grippers and the cutting width each time the sewn material is changed.

Overlock L 450 sews, cuts and carefully finishes in one operation. Innovative features make the overlock easy to use and guarantee the professional quality of each stitch.

This easy-to-use overlock has the ability to sew 16 stitches. The user has at his disposal overlock, flat and rolling stitches. Overlock has the ability to sew with 2-, 3- and 4-thread stitches.

The L450 overlock model is equipped with a unique and unprecedented mtc (Micro Thread Control) system. The solution patented by BERNINA guarantees precise setting of the stitch appearance without the need to select the tension on the grippers and the cutting width each time the sewn material is changed. Now one turn of the mtc and sewing knob achieves a smooth and edge of the material with the right tension. The applied solution allows for professional finishing of sewn materials.

Overlock L 450 is an overlock made with the utmost precision and attention to every detail. Strong and solid metal construction is based on components that guarantee a long life of the overlock and allow for a high working culture of the device.

Each tensioner has been distinguished not only by color but also by a special graphic showing which needle or gripper it concerns and what thread is adjustable with this tensioner. Adjustment is carried out smoothly in the range from 1 to 9. In the case of changing the type of sewn stitch, lifting the foot eliminates all stresses, making re-threading very fast and trouble-free.

The numbered thread tension knobs on the front of the machine and the colorful threading system contribute to their quick and easy preparation and setting, depending on your needs.

The overlock is equipped with a bottom gripper threadera, which significantly speeds up the threading of the device, and thus its readiness to work. Each of the elements through which the thread is dragged during threading has been marked with a separate color. This allows for maximum intuitive threading of the overlock.

It is enough from the very beginning to the end, i.e. the eyelets of the needle or gripper, to guide the thread through elements marked with the same color.

Overlocks from the L 450 series have differential transport also called differential, which protects against wrinkling or stretching of knitted and elastic materials and allows you to eliminate shifts between layers of material.

BERNINA also solved the issue of rolling stitch (mereżki) in a very simple way. Getting this beautiful stitch is very simple - just push the stitch finger lever, adjust the stresses and you're done. It is not necessary to replace the plate and stitch foot as in other manufacturers.

In the model owera L 450 we have the ability to adjust the stitch length in the range from 0.8 to 4 mm. A special knob placed on the outside of the housing is used for this.

When sewing with overlock, we can adjust the width of the material cutting (ranging from 3 to 7mm). It is fixed with a special knob located on the outside of the housing. It is no longer necessary to open the flap to adjust this parameter as is the case with other overlocks of this type.

The L 450 allows you to sew with both 2-, 3- and 4-thread overlock stitches. Changes in stitch are made by appropriate threading and stress adjustment, as well as by pulling or putting the needle in the right place. For sewing with double-threaded stitches, a special adapter of the upper gripper is used, which is included with the overlock.
