There are 50 of the most useful stitch programs available here, among which there is a one-of-a-kind supervollock stitch, invented years ago by engineers of the company Elna. The user can use a convenient cheat sheet with a list of stitches at any time, which has been cleverly hidden in the lower right part of the machine body. The number of the selected stitch is shown on a clear LCD display, along with hints about the recommended stitch length and width (it can be set up to 7 mm) and the appropriate pressure footer. Among the functions of the 550eX machine are 3 types of automatic hole stitching, also to the size of the button, 6-stage foot pressure adjustment and smooth sewing speed adjustment. In addition, this machine includes such amenities as LED lighting, automatic stitch locking, needle threader, needle positioning or START/STOP button, allowing you to sew without the use of a foot starter. People sewing large projects will appreciate the table enlarging the work area, which is standard equipment of the machine. An interesting novelty is the ability to set the time after which an unused machine will turn itself off.
