Selen is an element classified as an essential micronutrient that must be supplied to the body in food. Natural sources of selenium are; nuts (Brazilian nuts), seeds (sunflower seeds), meat, eggs, fish, seafood and sprouts. A very good source of selenium with high bioavailability are beer yeast, provided that they are deprived of activity.

The basic role in the bioavailability of selenium is played by its chemical form, it occurs both in organic and inorganic form. L-Selenomethionine is an organic form of selenium, which is characterized by high bioavailability.

The preparation contains selenium in the form of L-Selenomethionine obtained from inactive yeast.

Ingredients: inulin (chickory root), selenium (inactive yeast enriched in selenium, L-selenomethionine), gelatin (capsule shell).
