Dietary food for adult cats with lower urinary tract disorders, dissolves struvite stones, acidifying properties of urine, reduced magnesium content

Cats often suffer from diseases of the lower urinary tract such as cystitis, urinary stones, congestion in the urinary tract. They are collected under the name FLUTD (Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease). These diseases often occur together.

Cats usually drink too little and therefore excrete urine at a high concentration. As a result, excess minerals can accumulate to form crystals or groats. Larger mineral formations are called stones. The most common urinary stones are struvite stones. These particular struvite stones consist of a magnesium-ammonium-phosphate compound and form especially at the alkaline pH of urine.

Concept for Life Veterinary Diet Urinary is a high-quality, specially formulated, complete dietary food for adult cats that is optimally adapted to the nutritional needs of your cat with struvite stones and lower urinary tract diseases.

The acidifying properties of urine contained in the feed support the dissolution of existing struvite stones. Since struvite stones are mainly composed of magnesium and phosphorus, the Concept for Life Veterinary Diet Urinary has a matched but sufficient magnesium and phosphorus content.

This leads to a significant decrease in urine pH. Salmon oil as a natural source of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids can contribute to a shiny coat and healthy skin.

Contraindications:

Do not use in pregnant or lactating cats, kittens or in case of liver failure associated with impaired bile secretion.
