The ROYAL CANIN® Renal diet was developed to support kidney function in cats.

ROYAL CANIN® Renal is a complete dietary food for adult cats suffering from acute damage or chronic kidney failure.

Support for kidneys

A diet with low phosphorus and moderate protein content, which is characterized by high quality, developed to support kidney function and improve the quality of life of the cat.

Appropriate energy level

Adequate energy levels allow you to reduce the volume of a meal and help compensate for the effects of reduced appetite.

Varied aromatic profiles

The unique aromatic profile and the right shape of the kibble help stimulate the cat's appetite, especially in the case of food aversion.

Attention

Since this food is part of the Royal Canin veterinary product line, it should only be used in an animal after a recommendation by a veterinarian. When introducing new karma, a transitional period of 7-10 days should be maintained. The recommended daily doses of food should be strictly observed, especially for mixed feeding.

Mixed feeding

In order to satisfy the individual preferences of each cat, ROYAL CANIN® Renal food is available in the form of pieces in a sauce with three different aromatic profiles: chicken, beef, fish; in the form of pate and dry food in the Renal Special and Renal Select versions with specially selected shapes, texture and aromatic profile of croquettes. * Mixed feeding helps to stimulate your cat's appetite by diversifying the consistency of the food they are given. Wet food is characterized by a richer aroma, and its greater humidity promotes better hydration of the animal. In turn, dry food is more convenient to use and has a positive effect on oral hygiene.

Complete food for adult cats over 1. year of life, which suffer from kidney failure, with antioxidants and moderate phosphorus content.

Indications: - Acute renal failure.

- Chronic renal failure.

- Prevention of recurrence of oxalate stones in cats with impaired renal function.

- Prevention of recurrence of stones requiring alkalization of urine: gout and cystine stones.

Contraindications: - Pregnancy, lactation, growth period.

The advantages of feed are: - Chronic kidney failure can lead to metabolic acidosis. The addition of alkalizing substances helps maintain the metabolic balance of the body.

- Renal impairment can lead to uremia. The right level of high-quality protein helps reduce kidney strain.

- Recipe developed to support kidney function in the course of CKD: reduced phosphorus content, EPA and DHA supplement and antioxidant complex.

- Unique aromatic profile helps to satisfy your cat's individual nutritional preferences.
