➡ Prevention of struvite stones: The food is especially recommended for cats that tend to form struvite stones in the urinary tract.

➡ Reduced magnesium content: The main component of struvite stones is magnesium. To reduce the recurrence of urinary stones, the magnesium content in food was reduced.

➡ Lowering urine pH: Because struvite stones are formed in the alkaline environment of urine, the food contains DL-methionine, which acidifies urine.
