Plug 8P8C (8 Position 8 Contact) also called RJ45 is an eight-pin connector used in telecommunications installations and computer networks. The plug has eight pins, which during crimping are driven by insulation into the wires of the earned wire.

The offered plug is a through connector (Connector Pass Through) having a gap allowing the "passage" of twisted pair wires on which the plug is clamped. Pass-through plugs do not require cutting the cable wires before placing them in the plug (as is the case with herd RJs). Thanks to this, the process of properly planting the plug on the cable is much simpler - it is much easier to insert the cable into the plug, avoid errors of improper positioning and uneven cutting of the wires.

The offered plug is used to plant UTP on unshielded twisted pair cable with a diameter of 6~7.0mm and a thickness of conductors (diameter with insulation) in the range of 0.9~1.02mm which corresponds to the inner diameter of conductors (without insulation) in the range of AWG24-26 (0.5-0.4mm). The plug (thanks to appropriate pin profiling) is used for mounting on cables such as wire (solid) or cable (strand) and ensures compliance with the parameters of cat.6 (class E, band 250MHz).

For crimping the offered plugs, a crimper is dedicated, which during one operation tightens the plug and cuts the protruding wires. Crimper is available in our offer, you can find it on our auctions by entering CP-376N in the field 'search in user objects'.

Attention! The plug is designed for cables with a maximum conductor diameter with insulation of 1.02mm. Please check before buying the diameter of the conductors of your cable because sometimes there are twisted pair cat.5E with conductors in thick insulation exceeding 1.02mm. In our offer we also have RJ45 plugs with a design that allows planting on thicker wires - designed for conductors up to 1.6mm thick.
