The new Ultegra XTD has been designed to meet the expectations of carp anglers and will undoubtedly appeal to them not only because of its great appearance, but also because of its reasonable price. This new Shimano reel is equipped with as many as two aluminium spools (1x spare) and a whole range of spool capacity reducers, without which the modern carp angler could not fish comfortably. Two sizes are available - 5500 and 14000. Smaller, has two reducers reducing the spool to sizes 3500, while larger - four reducers reducing the spool to sizes 3500 or 10000. Thanks to them, the angler has the ability to easily change the type of line used and fully adapt to the conditions prevailing on the fishery. The Instant Drag multi-disc brake allows a smooth transition from completely released spool mode to full downforce, turning the brake knob by only 180 degrees, thus giving you the opportunity to take the tow immediately. The new Ultegra XTD is also equipped with technological solutions such as Parallel Body -Positioning the reel body in an ideal plane relative to the rod,X-Ship bearing drive - providing power and efficiency during towing,Super Slow 5 oscillation - giving a winding of 50 turns per spool oscillation cycle,and Maintenance Port - allowing lubrication of internal mechanisms without stripping the reel structure.
