Thanks to the Airdrive design, the new TDR is now lighter and more sensitive compared to the previous version. The Rotor Airdrive ensures increased sensitivity during towing and reduces the risk of fish being removed. The one-piece, hollow Airdrive cable combined with the extremely lightweight Airdrive spool and the new rotor lead to a reduction in the weight of the reel in its front and a better balance, resulting in better casting performance. The HardbodyZ aluminum reel body provides a distortion-resistant Tough Digigear housing and high reeling power. The large gears in the drive unit additionally ensure quiet operation and optimal power transmission – ideal when heavy sets need to be transported over long distances. The Longcast ABS aluminum spool features a special spool rim that reduces friction and contributes to greater casting distances. The Twistbuster III design on the line roll is also ideal for use with braids: the braid does not compress during winding, resulting in less twisting.
