How is Omron RS2 used?

Preparation for measurement

• Sit comfortably in a quiet place, lay your feet flat on the floor.
• Rest for at least 5 minutes before starting the measurement.
• Remove your watch, jewelry and wrist-hugging clothing.

Putting on the cuff

• Put a blood pressure monitor on your left hand wrist (unless your doctor tells you otherwise).
• Place the device about 1 to 2 cm above the wrist.
• Tighten the strap so that the cuff fits well, but does not press too hard.

Correct measuring position

• Raise your wrist with a blood pressure monitor to your heart height.
• Hold your hand with your other hand to maintain a stable position.
• Sit still and do not talk while measuring.

Start of measurement

• Press the Start/Stop button.
• The cuff inflates automatically and then gradually deflates.
• After a few seconds, the result of systolic, diastolic and heart rate pressure will appear on the display.

After completion of the measurement

• Save the result or use the device memory to preserve it.
• Turn off the blood pressure monitor, remove the cuff and put the device in a safe place.
