Elite Screens AEON Edge Free series are fixed frame screens with a borderless design (Edge Free technology). When mounted on the wall, they resemble a large flat-screen TV.

Key Features of the AEON Edge Free Series

• No Visible Frame: The screen material is stretched directly onto a lightweight aluminum frame from behind, making the edges invisible.
• Optional Thin Bezel: A thin, minimalist bezel (approx. 0.5 cm) is included and can be optionally attached to give the screen a traditional, elegant outline.

Available Screen Surfaces

Depending on your room conditions and projector type, screens in this series come with different materials:

• CineWhite: Standard white surface with a 1.1 gain, ideal for darkened cinema rooms.
• CineGrey (3D / 5D): Grey ALR (Ambient Light Rejecting) surfaces that reject ambient light and improve contrast in un-darkened, bright living rooms.
• StarBright CLR / CLR 3: Special micro-structured surfaces designed exclusively for ultra-short throw (UST) projectors, effectively blocking light from above.
• AcousticPro UHD: Acoustically transparent surface (sound permeable), allowing speakers to be hidden directly behind the screen.

  Type: White, matte PVC surface (universal for standard projectors)

  Gain: 1.1 / 1.3

  Viewing Angle: 180° (105°–180°)

  Intended Use: Rooms with controlled lighting, 4K/8K home cinema

• CineGrey

  Type: High-contrast grey surface

  Gain: 1.0

  Viewing Angle: 160°

  Intended Use: Improves black levels and contrast in rooms with light-colored walls.

• CineGrey 3D / CineGrey 5D (ALR)

  Type: Grey Ambient Light Rejecting surfaces

  Gain: 1.2 (CineGrey 3D) / 1.5 (CineGrey 5D)

  Viewing Angle: 90° (CineGrey 3D) / 80° (CineGrey 5D)

  Intended Use: Living room home cinemas with daylight/ceiling lighting.

• CLR / CLR 3 / StarBright CLR (UST ALR)

  Type: Special optical structure that absorbs overhead light

  Gain: 0.6 – 0.8

  Viewing Angle: approx. 160°–170° (optimal on-axis)

  Intended Use: Exclusively for ultra-short throw (UST) projectors – a daytime TV replacement.

• AcousticPro UHD

  Type: Acoustically transparent surface (micro-perforated)

  Gain: 1.0

  Viewing Angle: 180°

  Intended Use: Hiding cinema speakers directly behind the screen.
