With a length of 300 mm, the Knipex Cobra 87 01 300 is one of the larger water pump pliers of the Cobra series from Knipex. With additional torque and a grip width of up to 70 mm, it is particularly suitable for professional users for whom the capacity of a classic Cobra with a length of 250 mm is not sufficient. The advantages of these water pump pliers can be felt in the hand during operation: they can be quickly attached to the workpiece and self-clamp, for example, on pipes and nuts. Thanks to the plastic-coated handles, the Knipex Cobra 87 01 300 does not slip in your hand. Ideally suited for use on pipes up to 2 in diameter? inch and diameter 70 mm, as well as for nuts with a wrench size of up to 60 mm.

With self-clamping effect and precise adjustment

For pipes, nuts, bushings, for various types of large details: a professional user can quickly and precisely attach the Knipex Cobra with one hand. The spring-loaded hinge pin locks securely into place without accidental adjustment. Thanks to the 30-degree precise adjustment of the Knipex, the Cobra 87 01 300 can be optimally adapted to different detail sizes. This precise adjustment also ensures that the user can find a comfortable grip position for the hand at any grip distance.

Knipex Cobra tightens on the workpiece thanks to the jaw geometry developed by Knipex. This means that the user can convert their strength into the desired movement without squeezing the pliers legs – that is, without any losses. The round pieces can be rotated and the screw connections can be tightened and unscrewed.

Resistant and strong

We forge Knipex Cobra chrome vanadium steel and use a multi-stage hardening process to ensure an optimal balance of hardness and strength. This makes them very resistant. To ensure a permanent “bite” of the workpiece, we additionally bring the gripping teeth to a hardness of approx. 61 HRC using high frequency current.

Knipex Cobra additionally stabilizes the inserted joint. Unlike pliers with fixed joints, there are no tilting forces under load - the legs of the pliers stabilize each other in the joint.
