Single-phase MIGTEC MIG 200 LCD microprocessor controlled welding machine, made in IGBT inverter technology for MIG/MAG (gas shielded) or FLUX (without gas shield), for welding with DC electrodes and TIG Lift method with direct current (DC) with contact arc ignition.

Designed for welding with welding wires with a diameter of 0,6-1,2 mm, self-shielding wires of 0,9 mm and wrapped and tungsten electrodes with a diameter of up to 4 mm of low-carbon steel, low-alloy steel (MAG), alloy steel (MIG), aluminum and cast iron.

By setting the appropriate program or entering parameters, the device will independently select most welding settings, such as wire feed speed or appropriate voltage, according to the programmed data.

IN ADDITION, THE DEVICE HAS THE FOLLOWING FUNCTIONS TO SUPPORT WELDING:

• ARC FORCE - "arch dynamics" - shortening the arc length is accompanied by an increase in welding current, which stabilizes the arc, regardless of its length. Reducing the value of the function gives a soft arc and a smaller depth of melt, while increasing the value of the function causes deeper melting and the possibility of welding with a short arc.
• ANTI STICK - short-circuit function - reduces the welding current to a minimum value when the welder makes a mistake and the electrode is glued to the welded material. This makes it easier to detach the electrode from the welded material and protects the electrode holder from damage.
• HOT START - facilitates the ignition of the electrode by providing more welding current with each arc.
• WIRE BURNING FUNCTION - BURN BACK - it is possible to regulate the time, through which the voltage at the output of the device still occurs after stopping the wire feeding. This function prevents the welding wire from getting stuck in the workpiece and prepares the end of the wire for the next arc strike. Higher function values cause the wire to burn closer to the current tip.
