MIG/MAG welding – greater control, better weld quality
The most important area of work of the SPARTUS XPro MIG 260 Dual Pulse is the advanced MIG/MAG process, designed for stable arc guidance, fast configuration and high repeatability of effects. The operator can work in manual mode, ensuring full freedom of settings, or use synergistic programs that automatically select parameters to the type of material, wire diameter and shielding gas.
The key advantage of the device is the ability to work in Pulse and Dual Pulse modes. Pulse technology allows you to precisely control the amount of energy introduced into the material, which translates into a more stable arc, fewer chippings and better control of the welding lake. Dual Pulse additionally enables obtaining a characteristic, aesthetic weld structure resembling TIG welding, while maintaining high efficiency of the MIG/MAG process. This solution works particularly well when welding aluminum and stainless steel, where reducing material overheating and deformation control are crucial for the quality of the final effect. Adjusting the pulsation parameters, pulse frequency and base current allows you to precisely adjust the nature of the work to the type of material and technological requirements.
The device offers advanced handle modes: 2T, 4T, S2T, S4T and SPOT. The classic 2T and 4T modes make it easy to adjust to short or long welds, while the extended S2T and S4T modes allow you to control the start and end of the process. Thanks to this, the operator can precisely manage arc ignition, starting current, final parameters and weld extinction.
SPOT mode allows you to perform repetitive spot welds, increasing the accuracy of work on elements that require control of welding time. Inductance adjustment allows you to adjust the nature of the arc to the material and welding position – from a softer arc to a more dynamic and concentrated one. In practice, this means better control of melting, reduction of chipping and greater stability of the process.
The SPARTUS XPro MIG 260DP also offers detailed control of the welding process. The operator can adjust parameters such as gas outflow before and after welding, Soft Start, start and end parameters of the arc or Burn Back, responsible for the correct completion of wire feeding. The Slow Feed feature provides a controlled start to the wire feed, improving the stability and comfort of the work.
Synergic programmes
SPARTUS XPro MIG 260 Dual Pulse offers synergistic programs for the most commonly used materials and applications. The device enables the work of m.in. with black steel, stainless steel, aluminium and self-shielding core wire. PFC technology – stable operation and greater power efficiency
SPARTUS XPro XPro MIG 260 Dual Pulse is equipped with PFC (Power Factor Correction), which significantly improves energy efficiency and stability of the device. Active power factor correction technology reduces energy losses, reduces the load on the electrical network and allows for more stable welding parameters even when working with long extension cords or in places with less stable power supply. In practice PFC means:
greater resistance to voltage fluctuations,
a more stable plasma arc,
lower power consumption from the grid,
better energy efficiency,
greater comfort of work in the field and with a power generator.
This solution is particularly important for mobile users, assembly teams and workshops operating in demanding power supply conditions, where the stability of the device has a direct impact on the quality and continuity of work.
20 memory channels – repeatability without wasting time
The device offers 20 memory channels, allowing you to save your own welding parameter settings. This makes it much easier to work with repetitive elements, different materials or permanent production tasks. The operator can save the verified configurations and quickly return to them, without having to re-set all parameters. The result is shorter preparation time, lower risk of error and higher repeatability of the process.
Comfort of use and easy-to-read LCD panel
Modern control panel with easy-to-read LCD display provides quick access to the most important functions and parameters. The interface guides the user through the selection of process, material, wire diameter and additional settings, thanks to which the operation is intuitive even with the extensive capabilities of the device.
During welding, key operating parameters are presented on the screen, which allows you to control the process on an ongoing basis and react quickly to the requirements of a specific task.
TIG Lift Pulse - advanced parameter control
SPARTUS XPro MIG 260 Dual Pulse is not limited to MIG/MAG welding. TIG Lift mode enables precise TIG DC welding with arc ignition by touch, without the use of high frequency HF. It is a practical solution wherever greater control over the process and high aesthetics of the weld count.
However, the XPro MIG series takes TIG Lift capabilities a step further. The device is equipped with an advanced TIG Lift Pulse function with the ability to work in pulse mode and access to extended settings of the welding process, including, among others, pulse frequency and width adjustment. This solution allows even more precise control of the welding arc, the amount of heat input and the characteristics of the weld, which will be especially appreciated by users working with thinner materials or demanding details.
In addition to the standard operation of TIG handles with valve, the SPARTUS XPro MIG 260 Dual Pulse also enables cooperation with TIG handles equipped with handle control and EURO connection. Thanks to this, the operator can conveniently control the welding process without having to take his hands off the handle, which significantly increases the comfort and ergonomics of work. In addition to 2T and 4T modes, the device also offers 8T mode, allowing the implementation of an extended handle control cycle. This solution improves the operation of the multi-stage welding process and reduces the need to constantly hold the handle button, increasing the comfort of the operator.
MMA Pulse and intelligent process control
