The LP-WU6500 DLP projector from Hitachi offers a brightness of 5000 ANSI lumens and a WUXGA resolution of 1920 x 1200. It uses a laser phosphor light source that provides up to 20 000 hours of maintenance-free operation. The projector also has one HDBaseT digital input and three HDMI. Laser power level control helps you fine-tune the brightness of your images depending on the brightness of the surrounding environment, as well as adjust the brightness of the images displayed side by side.

The air-resistant structure of the optical motor allows you to minimize the entry of dust particles, which can lead to a decrease in brightness. This design provides dust resistance to the projector and allows the projector to be used in a variety of environments. The lens offset, turning the adjusters manually, can adjust the position of the image on the screen. This feature is useful for adjusting the position of the image without causing trapezoidal distortion.

The projector has a DICOM simulation mode (digital imaging and communication in medicine). This mode simulates the DICOM standard, which is a standard used in digital communication in medicine, and is useful for displaying medical images such as X-rays for training and educational purposes.
