Dietary supplement

Dietary supplement Milanella Biom is a unique combination of probiotic and prebiotic, for use during lactation. The active ingredients of the preparation supplement the microbiota of milk tubules with difficult milk flow, in addition, they supplement and regulate the microbiota of the gastrointestinal tract of mother and child. Product to be used as a supplement to lactation advice to normalize the mother's milk microbiota.

Lactobacillus salivarius SGL03 probiotic bacteria contained in Milanella Biom have the ability to penetrate the mammary gland. They limit the growth of certain bacteria responsible for the difficult flow of milk, which can occur in the case of food retention in the milk ducts.

Prebiotic – inulin is also present in Milanella Biom. It supports the growth of microorganisms, including Lactobacillus salivarius SGL03 strain.

Consumption of Lactobacillus salivarius bacteria by breastfeeding women is recommended by the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine (ABM). This probiotic can be used both by women who are lactating properly and by nursing mothers who have difficult milk flow from the breast.6

Probiotic - Lactobacillus salivarius SGL03

A strain of probiotic bacteria, found in the supplement for breastfeeding women, naturally inhabits the oral cavity and human digestive tract.7 In the conducted studies, it was shown that Lactobacillus salivarius SGL03 bacteria enter the mammary gland as early as 4 days after the start of supplementation2. Thus, they affect the maintenance of normal milk microbiota. When a child eats food, he receives probiotic bacteria with him.

The probiotic Lactobacillus salivarius SGL03 also reduces the excessive multiplication of certain bacteria, which can occur during milk retention in the milk ducts.

Prebiotic - inulin

It supports the maintenance of a normal microbiota. It is a source of food for probiotic bacteria8 , including the Lactobacillus salivarius SGL03 strain.

The effects of Milanelli complex and Milanelli biom were confirmed by a pilot study.
