When to use Restube pneumatic and safety buoys?
If necessary, Bojki Restube belay allow you to safely reach the shore or calmly wait for help. They do their job in both salt and fresh water. In emergency situations, if a muscle catches a contraction, a strong current interferes with reaching your destination, or simply, for better well-being, it is worth having some belaying with you. In the event of a water equipment failure, Restube pneumatic buoys can save lives. The buoy is permanently attached to the strap. It is enough to reach with your hand to the pin and release the CO2 cartridge. When inflated, the buoy has a displacement of 75 N (7.0 kg), which is enough to keep any swimmer's head afloat.
How to fill the buoys for swimming?
Restube buoys are very easy to use. Pulling the trigger will automatically fill the buoy with gas from a 16-gram CO2 cartridge. Inflation takes a fraction of a second. By grasping the buoy with your hands, you will keep your head afloat. You can safely catch your breath, rest and swim to the shore, or wait for help. We also fill the Restube buoys with our mouths through the drain-inlet valve. This valve is used to drain CO2 or air (you must press the valve with the inverted plug). After installing a new CO2 cartridge, folding it up and storing it in a bag, the buoys for swimming are ready to be used again. Restube buoys are made of durable material, approved for the production of life jackets.
