In many inflatables, before you sail, you lay rigid floor segments on the bottom. Here the floor consists of millions of polyester threads connecting two layers of PVC – when inflated, they turn into a rigid, stable deck.

Do I need a patent or registration?

No. Motorboat privileges are required only for engines with a power exceeding 10 kW (about 13,6 hp), and units longer than 7,5 m or with a drive stronger than 15 kW are registered – this pontoon has 260 cm and a maximum engine power of 4 hp.

How is the AIR DECK floor different from the aluminum floor in larger Kormorans?

The AIR DECK floor is pumped together with the pontoon and rolled into the bag – that’s why the whole set weighs 30 kg, and the assembly closes in 10 to 15 minutes. Full aluminum floor (e.g. In the 300D and 330D models) it is heavier and stacked from segments, but these models work with keel and more powerful engines.

How long does it take to assemble a pontoon over water?

The manufacturer declares 10 to 15 minutes for assembly and the same amount for disassembly – together with pumping the foot pump from the set. AIR DECK flooring does not need to be laid, it is pumped together with a pontoon.

Will I transport it in an ordinary passenger car?
