The Lanberg series of lightweight industrial switches has been designed for demanding working environments: metal housing, passive cooling and operating parameters allow for stable operation in a wide range of ambient temperatures. The main advantages of the series are high PoE power, redundant power supply (you can connect 2 power supplies), DIN rail mounting, VLAN and EXTEND function, automatic MDI/MDI-X, Flow control, intelligent PoE port disconnection function and MAC auto-learning.

In practice, it is a network switch created for distributed infrastructure: industry, street lighting infrastructure, external CCTV monitoring, alarm systems and internal and external installations, where both Ethernet data transmission and PoE power supply of end devices (cameras, recorders, access points, controllers, sensors) – often requiring more power supply – count.

• 1× SFP 1000BASE-X slot as fiber optic uplink – parameters depend on the SFP module used.

PoE, PoE+ and PoE++ technology is an improved version of power supply via Ethernet cable, which allows you to provide power to peripheral devices that are elements of the network – without an additional power supply at the device. The technology based on the protocols 802.3at, 802.3af, 802.3bt allows users to power peripheral devices with power up to 120 W (90 W or 120 W depending on the model). An important advantage of the improved version of the technology is also high quality and high data transfer rate (up to 1Gbps, depending on the model). Thanks to such high data transfer capabilities, the PoE solution has been widely used in extensive monitoring networks. PoE+ and PoE++ technology allows you to transfer images from 4K cameras in real time while maintaining full smoothness.
