Application

Digitus DN-651133 is an unmanaged, industrial DC-powered switch, equipped with eight 10/100 Mbps RJ-45 ports with PoE function and one 100 Mbps base-FX (SFP) uplink port. The device is designed to connect IP cameras, access points and other Ethernet devices in industrial installations and monitoring systems, providing power through network interfaces and stable data transmission in difficult conditions.

Network functions

The switch operates in full and half duplex modes with automatic link parameter setting and MDI/MDI-X detection. It uses the method of storing and passing frames, and its MAC address table holds up to 4000 entries. Support for 10/100 Mbps ports ensures stable traffic switching on the local network.

PoE power and protection

The device supports IEEE 802.3af compliant PoE power supply. The DC input power supply is 48-57 V and is fed through a 6-pin terminal block. The switch has a surge protection of 5000 A (8/20 µs), which increases the resistance of the installation to surge impulses in an industrial environment.

Construction and installation

The housing with IP40 protection and a wide operating temperature range from -40°C to 80°C allow installation in industrial conditions. The device is designed for installation on a DIN rail, equipped with LED indicators for easy diagnostics of port and power status and one base-FX optical port (SFP) for use as an uplink.
