Elongation of the greenhouse The length of the greenhouse can be increased with extension kits (every 2 meters) to the required size.

At this price, you also get elements for protecting polycarbonate, including: U end profiles, Vapour-permeable tape, Full insulation tape. This will protect polycarbonate structures from dirt for a long period of time and the greenhouse will enjoy a bountiful harvest for many years!

GERA greenhouse set includes:

Coating

Chamber polycarbonate 6 mm density: 0,85 kg/m2 is resistant to UV radiation and standard weather conditions (snow, rain, small hail).

Why 6mm?

1) Such large greenhouses are most often used by gardeners who want to extend the growing season in the greenhouse, i.e. the coating must be made of the material that best maintains heat.

2) Chamber polycarbonate, in addition to its thickness, has a second important indicator - density - the amount of raw material used for extrusion 1 sq. m. Polycarbonate 6mm of EU production has a density of 0,85 kg/m2.

What does this affect? The density affects the strength of polycarbonate and is responsible for thermal insulation and protection against heat loss. Thanks to this, some plants can grow all year round, regardless of the weather conditions outside.

3) 4mm polycarbonate fits more for small backyard greenhouses when we plan to grow only in the season. For greenhouses with arc spacing every 1m polycarbonate 4mm is too thin, so in the Gera greenhouse set you will get polycarbonate 6mm thick

Polycarbonate on both sides has protective films, under the white foil with inscriptions there is a side of the board with UV protection.

-Durable construction - Arches are the main supporting element of the greenhouse. To ensure maximum rigidity, the front surface is welded completely. For greenhouses of the GERA series with a width of 3 meters, special arches are produced from a thick steel profile with a cross section of 40x20 mm.

From the bottom, the greenhouse is equipped with a metal frame, into which arches are inserted. In addition to the frame from the bottom, the Gera greenhouse is equipped with transverse profiles with a cross section of 40x20 mm, 3 rows of crossbars on the roof and a corner galvanized sheet metal profile (as in the photo on the left), which is mounted at the interface of the roof and walls. The number of arches in the greenhouse is increased (the distance between the arches is 100 cm) and provides a more even snow load on the chamber polycarbonate, which means that the greenhouse covered with polycarbonate will be perfect even in the snowiest Polish winter.

-Corrosion protection Profiles are galvanized in a fire way, which perfectly protects the coating from rust

Connection of arcs and transverse profiles using the “crab” system (X and T shaped connectors). Arches and profiles are located in one plane, thus the weight of snow is evenly distributed on the surface of the polycarbonate roof.

Delivery

Delivery carried out by delivery vehicles of a partner company. The supplier will help you unload the goods (we always ask for help in unloading at least 1 person) and check the contents of the order with you!

Greenhouse arrives dismantled: metal elements, upright polycarbonate sheets (maximum length 7m) plus packaging with mounting elements

Polycarbonate is equipped with a protective film that allows it to be placed on an open surface without the risk of damage to the product. The galvanized steel profile protects the structure from external factors, which allows you to leave the dismantled product on an open surface. Greenhouse in this form, can wait for installations.

Assembly

To ensure additional stability and durability of the structure, we recommend mounting the greenhouse on a foundation (from concrete blocks or spout) using angles (not included). The client executes the foundation on his own.
