DESCRIPTION OF ACTION

Chwastox Complex 260 EW is a herbicide in the form of a liquid for the preparation of an aqueous emulsion (emulsion, oil in water), used in foliage, intended for the control of dicotyledonous weeds on lawns.

The product is intended for use with hand sprayers (including backpack sprayers).

ACTION ON WEEDS

Chwastox Complex 260 EW is a selective agent with systemic action. It is taken up by the leaves and moved to the roots of the weeds, causing them to deform, and then inhibit growth and dying. The first symptoms on sensitive weeds appear after 1-2 days after spraying. The growth of weeds is inhibited and weeds die after approx. 3-4 weeks. The agent most effectively fights weeds in the early stages of development. Weather conducive to plant development increases the herbicidal effect of the agent.

PRECAUTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE RELATED TO GOOD AGRICULTURAL PRACTICE

1. Grass treated with the product should not be used for feeding animals.

2. Minimize the possibility of contact of the usable liquid of the agent with the soil near the bushes and under the tree crowns.

3. The measure should not be used:

– during the period of drought,

– before the expected immediate heavy rainfall,

– for sick, damaged or wet plants,

– at temperatures below 10oC and above 25oC,

– before the approaching frosts,

– during the wind creating the possibility of lifting the usable liquid on adjacent crops.

4. When using the product, do not allow:

- the abolition of usable liquid on adjacent crops, especially dicotyledonous plants and crowns of trees and shrubs (especially on non-woody parts of plants),

- overlapping of the usable liquid on the contacts of the treatment belts and headlands,

- the agent enters the water used for watering plants.

CONDITIONS FOR THE SAFE USE OF THE PRODUCT

Before applying the measure, all interested parties who may be exposed to the lifting of the usable liquid and who have requested such information should be informed of this fact.

Precautions for persons using the product:

Read the label before use.

Do not eat, drink or smoke while using the product.

Wear protective gloves (nitrile), eye protection (protective glasses) protecting against the effects of plant protection products during the preparation of the usable liquid and performing the procedure.

Environmental precautions:

Do not contaminate water with a plant protection product or its packaging. Do not wash apparatus near surface water. Avoid water pollution through drainage ditches from farms and roads.

Do not allow the liquid to be lifted outside the area of application of the product.

It is prohibited to use empty packaging of plant protection products for other purposes.

Transfer the unused product to the entity authorized to collect hazardous waste.

Return the emptied packaging in the middle to the seller of plant protection products that are dangerous products.

FIRST AID

Antidote: none, use symptomatic treatment.

If you need medical advice, show the packaging or label.

In case of skin contact: Wash with plenty of soap and water.

If it gets into your eyes: Rinse carefully with water for a few minutes. Remove contact lenses if they are and can be easily removed. Continue to rinse. Contact immediately
