Chwastox New Trio 390 SL 100 ml is a selective herbicide designed to control dicotyledonous weeds on lawns. The preparation works foliar – it is taken up by the leaves of weeds, causing their deformation, growth inhibition and gradual dying.

The agent is in the form of a liquid for the preparation of an aqueous solution. The 100 ml package allows you to prepare a usable liquid for spraying surfaces up to 500 m², according to the dosage from the label.

Chwastox New Trio 390 SL is a selective herbicide designed for use on lawns. The preparation helps to reduce the occurrence of selected dicotyledonous weeds that compete with grass for water, light and nutrients.

The agent is applied in foliar form, so the usable liquid should go directly to the weed leaves. The best effect is obtained when the weeds are in the phase of intensive growth.

Three active substances in one preparation

The formula contains MCPA, mekoprop-P and dicamba. The combination of three active substances allows it to act on different species of dicotyledonous weeds found on lawns.

The preparation is taken up by the leaves of weeds, and then moves in the plant. It causes deformation, growth inhibition and gradual dying of weeds.

For use from spring to early autumn

According to the label, the measure is applied from spring to early autumn. Spraying is performed on weeds from the phase of several leaves to the flowering phase.

The preparation can be applied to the entire lawn surface or only spot on weeded areas. In case of severe weed infestation, a second treatment may be necessary, with an interval of at least 56 days.

Capacity up to 500 m²

The 100 ml package is enough to prepare 25 l of usable liquid, which corresponds to the area up to 500 m² of the lawn.

Examples of proportions:

4 ml of agent + 1 l of water – per 20 m²

20 ml of agent + 5 l of water – per 100 m²

100 ml of agent + 25 l of water – per 500 m²

The recommended amount of water is 5 l per 100 m².

For hand sprayers

The product is intended for use with hand sprayers. Medium drop spraying is recommended, evenly on the lawn surface or weeded areas.

The usable liquid should be prepared immediately before the procedure and used on the same day. After finishing work, the sprayer should be thoroughly washed.

Sensitive and moderately sensitive weeds

When used once, the label indicates as sensitive weeds m.in. glaucoma, dandelion, green umbilical cord, keratosis and sorrel.

Medium-sensitive weeds included m.in. Lancet grandmother, common grandmother and common yarrow. In case of severe weed infestation or weeds more difficult to control, it may be necessary to repeat the procedure according to the label.

Important conditions of use

Do not use during drought, on wet, sick or damaged plants. Do not use at temperatures below 10°C and above 25°C, before frost, before rain or during wind.

The lawn should not be mowed at least 7 days before the procedure and at least 7 days after the procedure. In the year of establishing the lawn, the agent can be used only when the grass reaches the full phase of propagation.

At 20 m²

Dissolve 4 ml of the agent in 1 l of water.

At 100 m²

Dissolve 20 ml of the agent in 5 l of water.

At 500 m²

Method of use

1. Set the spray surface

Before preparing the liquid, calculate the surface of the lawn or weeded areas. This will allow you to choose the right amount of preparation and water.

2. Measure the preparation

Measure the required amount of agent according to the dosage. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

3. Prepare the sprayer

Partially fill the sprayer tank with water, add the measured amount of preparation, refill with water to the required volume and mix thoroughly.

4. Spray

Spray evenly on the lawn surface or weeded areas. Avoid lifting liquids on adjacent plants, especially ornamental, vegetable, fruit and other dicotyledonous plants.

5. After the procedure

Do not enter the lawn and do not introduce animals until the usable liquid has completely dried on the surface of the plants.

6. Wash the equipment

After finishing work, wash the sprayer thoroughly. Treat the water after washing the apparatus as leftover liquid.
