Ganzo Firebird G8012V2-DY is a solid survival knife with a full tang design made of 8Cr13Mov stainless steel. The set includes a polymer sheath equipped with an additional blade for cutting the cord, a diamond whetstone and a compact flint.

GANZO G8012V2-DY has a full tang design (so-called. full mandrel). This term refers to knives whose blade and shank of the handle are made of one piece of steel. Knives of this design are characterized by great strength and resistance to damage, which is why they are commonly used by enthusiasts of survival, bushcraft, soldiers and hunters. The knife has a wide and massive blade with a length of 113 mm, made of 8CR13 57-58 HRC stainless steel, which is an ideal choice for an outdoor knife. The steel used is resistant to corrosion and wear, retains sharpness for quite a long time and is easy to sharpen, which in the case of a survival knife has a huge amount. Hard steel combined with a 5 mm thick full tang blade makes it clear that the knife was created for field work and can be used for chopping and baring. The back of the knife has a flat cutter with sharp edges, which works perfectly with flint and makes it easier to sparkle.

The long cutting edge makes working with this knife a pure pleasure. The element that distinguishes the knife is its modular design, thanks to which after unscrewing the steel shank (in the back of the grip) we can pull the blade out of the handle and use it, e.g. to produce an improvised spear. The blade locking nut also acts as a beater and glass breaker used during rescue operations. The profiled polymer handle has finger cutouts and angled ribbed, improving the grip of the knife. The hole in the handle was used to weave a paracord cord, which of course can be replaced with another accessory. On the handle there are inserts with increased visibility, which help to locate the lost knife.

The Ganzo Firebird G8012V2-DY knife comes with a multifunctional sheath, which not only for safe knife handling, but also has a number of important survival tools. The sheath is made of plastic and nylon fabric, resistant to moisture, mold and time. On the outside there is a compact flint, with which, after a short workout, we can easily light a fire. On the inside there is a small diamond sharpener that allows you to sharpen the knife in the field. At the bottom of the sheath there is a removable blade that easily copes with cutting line, line and tape.
