The AT-LP120X-USB is an improved version of the AT-LP120-USB turntable. The latest model designed in the Japanese office Audio-Technica uses a new DC motor with Direct-Drive drive, as well as adjustable dynamic anti-skating control and a built-in phono preamplifier.

This is a fully manual device, which means that the user must do the following on their own

• Starting: You have to manually lift the arm, move it over the plate and lower the needle with a lever.
• Playback completion: The device does not have an automatic return or stop function (auto-stop). Once the plate side is complete, the needle will remain in the final groove until the arm is raised manually.

This fully manually operated design plays discs at 33 1/3, 45 and 78 rpm. /min. AT-LP120X-USB is equipped with a USB output that allows direct connection of the device to the computer. Just download the free Audacity recording software (or other software of your choice) and start converting analog recordings to digital audio files. In addition to the USB output, the turntable is also equipped with a detachable dual RCA output cable and a built-in phono preamplifier, so that the user can connect the AT-LP120XUSB to his stereo system, regardless of whether he has a Phono input or not.

The turntable is equipped with an arm in the shape of the letter "S" with adjustable tracking force. A new version of the well-known AT95E cartridge VM95E Dual Magnet is responsible for reading the "music" from black discs, which was mounted on a new, even more rigid AT-HS6 head. Thanks to this, we will “read” even more notes from our favorite vinyls.

The turntable is equipped with an aluminum cast plate with a felt mat. In addition, the turntable is equipped with a start/stop button,quartz-stabilized precision speed lock Pitch Lock and speed control in the range of +/-8% or +/-16%,strobe plate with speed indicator, removable needle lighting,removable dust cover and external power supply thanks to which the conversion of alternating current to constant current takes place outside the housing,As a result, its impact on the signal path is limited.
