Interesting times have come for lovers of niche perfumes. A real flood of new brands and projects that outdo each other in concepts and ideas. Competition stimulates ingenuity and growth, that’s for sure. On the one hand, brands with historical roots appear (or are reactivated), based on tradition and classic approach to perfume. On the other hand, the minds of innovators, heirs of a great avant-garde tradition, animators who want to surprise the market with something new and even innovative are restlessly pulsating. The latter group undoubtedly includes a very intriguing nu_be project, which debuted last year.

The name itself suggests a new fragrance entity, but is it really so? What happens when we take the marketing out of them? After all – in the end – it’s about how perfumes smell after using them on the skin, not about what concept they fit into, what stories were made into them, or what stories they inspire in the minds of reviewers or fragrant bloggers... Isn’t that right? Marketing treatments are supposed to cause one thing – the purchase decision. Only later comes a calmer assessment of how a given perfume actually smells. Sometimes it is a cold and even cold shower...

Surprising leather composition with flint accents in the first stage, in which the slightly carrot rhizome of iris also sounds quite clear and with a subtly marked but palpable rose in the heart. The base is a leather scent in a contemporary way, composed of musk, patchouli and cedar and traces of safraleine. According to the creator, the smell is full of contrasts, but I do not sense it. It is very well and convincingly put together, smells consistent, original and really unique. [3Li] is an intriguing fragrance, one of the best in the set, and I can't find anything similar in my fragrant memory, which is already a success in itself...

What do the different types of scents mean?

Base notes are the true depth of perfume. What lies at the heart of their creation. This scent wakes up at the latest and stays with you until the end.
