The Quikset foundation system is a two-component geopolymer mass for fast and self-assembly of posts in the substrate. QUIKSET Q700 is used for embedding fence posts (metal and wooden), pergolas, shelters and other garden architecture (benches, tables, swings, playground elements), masts.

This is a simpler and faster solution than using concrete in bags or hammered metal anchors, the simple installation of which is very troublesome. The foundation of Quikset you will do in less than an hour, and 80% of your endurance will be achieved after 2 hours! Full strength geopolymer mass reaches after 24 hours.

CONSUMPTION:

One package of Q700 allows you to mount a post with dimensions of 6x4 cm or with a diameter of 3-6 cm in a hole fi 15 cm, placed in the ground at a depth of 60 cm. The depth is analogous to the use of concrete, while the diameter of the hole is much smaller (with concrete it is from 20 to 25 cm). Thanks to this, it is easier to drill a hole in the ground, and at the same time there is less land left from the trench for later development.

If it is necessary to use more than one package, first pour the contents of one package and wait for the mass to stop growing and harden. Depending on the ambient temperature, it can take 7 to 25 minutes. When the first mass has solidified, the contents of the second package can be poured. The masses are perfectly combined with each other.

Do not pour the second package while the first mass is still liquid or not fully cured. This may result in inhibition of mass growth, as a result of which fastening in the substrate will be ineffective.

PREPARATION OF THE OPENING

In order to effectively use the mass of QUIKSET for the installation of posts, we recommend using a drilling rig. It guarantees the preparation of the right size of the hole. When trying to dig a hole, e.g. with a shovel, it will be larger than necessary, which will contribute to greater weight consumption.
