Fjord Nansen

A refreshed version of the well-known TORDIS tent. Lightweight, 2-person tent with two vestibules. The outdoor frame used in it allows you to set up the tropics with the bedroom at the same time, so that the bedroom will remain dry in the rain.

Main features:

• spacious tent designed for 2 people;
• intended for use during mountain hikes, cycling trips, camping and kayaking - almost for any season;
• 2 independent entrances - 2 vestibules;
• the tent can be safely pitched in the rain, first spreading the tropics (frame tunnels are placed outside the tropics);
• in order to reduce weight, the bedroom was reduced - the current dimension of 120 x 205 cm (earlier dimension of 130 x 215 cm);
• in addition, the bedroom is made of up to 2/3 material (Poliripstop) the rest is made of mesh (Polyester Mesch);
• thanks to the use of DCS technology, it has a lot of space in the bedroom, this ensures the possibility of staying in a 2-person tent for 3-4 people in a sitting position;
• inside the bedroom there are practical pockets and eyelets for hanging, e.g. headlamps, laundry lines;
• the tent uses materials with higher strength parameters and a duralumin frame;
• all seams of the tropics laminated;
• breaking up is very efficient and fast;

DCS technology:

Double Comfort Space (DCS) is a system of special profiling of the tent frame, allowing to achieve the effect of almost vertical side walls. This ensures the possibility of staying in a 2-person tent of 3-4 people in a sitting position, without the risk of touching the bedroom material with your head. Our measurements showed that the “usable” area in this tent is more than 3,5 times larger than in a standard igloo*. This system also minimizes the risk of tall people lying in a sleeping bag touching the walls of the tent. Tent equipped with ventilation.
