A pendant, colloquially a clip or lanyard protecting hearing aids and speech processors helps in the daily functioning of people using hearing devices. A single SmartEar pendant is made of rubber, clip and silicone tip. The clip is small and holds clothes firmly when fastened. The standard length of the pendant eraser from the clip to the silicone tip is about 19-20 cm.

The silicone tip applied to the device is available in three sizes:

• 9 mm for hearing aids
• 11 mm for all speech processors
