Tire sealant milk Quick Tire Sealant - 500ml
Quick is a high-quality tire sealant that works instantly to repair punctures up to 7mm.
Just 80 ml of Quick Tire Sealant allows you to protect your tire in case of puncture, almost immediately repairing damage up to 7 mm . The Quick Tire Sealant has been developed to remain liquid for up to 7 months, even in tyres with thin walls and a small amount of rubber. It can be used with Tubeless, Tubeless Ready tires and ordinary tires (provided that it is properly mounted on the rim, preventing it from falling off the rim and unsealing the tire foot). Quick Tire Sealant can be pumped using Co2 cartridge pumps.
For effective puncture resistance, add the required amount to the inside of the tyre (table below).
Recommended amount per tyre:
- MTB tires 1,0" to 2,0" recommended amount 60 - 80 ml.
- MTB tires 2,1" to 2,5" recommended amount 80 - 100 ml
- MTB tyres 2,6" to 3,0" recommended amount 120 - 150 ml
- Gravel tires recommended amount of 40 - 60 ml
- The recommended amount can be increased for extra protection.
Longer puncture protection.
You can do it like a pharmacist or a sloth, any way is good.
The sealant works immediately, so there may be a situation that the sealant has already sealed several damages and you do not even know about it and its amount is insufficient for further protection. It is recommended to check the amount of sealant in the tire every 2-3 months and possibly replenish.
Or add fresh sealant every 3 months (approx. 30% of the first application on the wheel) and enjoy the ride.
Temperature range.
The sealant remains liquid inside the tyre in the temperature range from +40 °C to -22 °C. However, it should be borne in mind that long-term use at extreme temperatures can contribute to the acceleration of sealant aging.
Application of tire sealant.
The simplest and cleanest way is to apply using an applicator through the valve. Pour the right amount of sealant into the previously shot tire, install the valve insert and pump with air.
You can pour the sealant directly into the tire before shooting on the rim. We do not recommend this method, because improper execution can end in a big mess.
Frequently asked questions.
What tyres can I use Quick Tire Sealant with?
The sealant can be used with UST, Tubeless, Tubeless Ready and regular tires. In the case of ordinary tyres, there may be a problem with sealing the rim foot, in which case the “ghetto tubeless” system should be used.
How much sealant should I use?
Recommended amount per tyre:
- MTB tires 1,0" to 2,0" recommended amount 60 - 80 ml.
- MTB tires 2,1" to 2,5" recommended amount 80 - 100 ml
- MTB tyres 2,6" to 3,0" recommended amount 120 - 150 ml
- Gravel tires recommended amount of 40 - 60 ml
The above values should be treated as suggested, the amount of sealant can be adjusted depending on the volume of the tire. A larger amount of sealant can be used for increased protection, but do not overdo it. A larger amount of sealant increases weight and negatively affects traction. Using too little sealant will not protect the tire in case of damage.
Can you mix Quick Tire Sealant with sealants from other manufacturers?
As a rule, we suggest not to do this, but in exceptional situations you can mix with sealants based on natural latex. Do not mix with synthetic latex based sealants and mechanical sealants.
Can I use Quick Tire Sealant for sewing or inner tubes?
If the inner tube or stitch has a removable valve core, then you can use a sealant. The recommended amount of sealant from 30 ml to 60 ml depending on the volume.
How long will the sealant in my tire hold?
The sealant should remain liquid in the tire from 2 to 7 months. It depends on factors such as the ambient temperature, how often you ride, at what temperature you store the bike (optimal temperature +10°C to +20°C), tire wall thickness, the amount of rubber in the tire (more better), the number of sealed punctures. We recommend checking the sealant every 3 months.
What is the shelf life of Quick Tire Sealant?
The sealant can be stored for two years in a tightly closed original container in a cool place without exposure to sunlight. Optimal storage temperature +10°C to +20°C. Of course, you can keep the sealant in a drawer or in a toolbox, it should not have much impact on its aging.
Can the ammonia content damage the tire or rim?
In Quick Tire Sealant we use natural latex. When collecting latex, a small amount of ammonia is added as a stabilizer. When you open the bottle, you may notice an intense smell, but this trace amount of ammonia will oxidize over time and the smell will be milder. This small amount of ammonia does not have a harmful effect on the tire and rim.
Do I need to remove the sealant from the inside of the tire?
We recommend cleaning your tires with liquid sealant if you plan to reuse them. Leaving the sealant will cause its vulcanization and difficulties with subsequent removal. For washing, we recommend using water and a cloth.
Is the Quick Tire Sealant compatible with CO2?
CO2 cartridge pumps are best used in emergency racing situations. However, we recommend replacing CO2 after driving and replacing it with regular air. Long-term CO2 performance can shorten the life of the sealant.
