In order to effectively defungize the air conditioning system, please follow the instructions below.
- Locate the evaporator.
- Remove the old cabin filter.
- Check that the drainage holes under the evaporator are open.
- Dry the surface of the evaporator. To this end:
- Turn on the engine,
- turn off the air conditioning and set the air supply to the legs,
- set the temperature controller and fan switch to the maximum,
- leave this configuration for about 10 minutes.
- Apply the liquid directly to the surface of the evaporator.
- Leave the cleaning liquid on for 15 to 20 minutes to work.
- Dry the evaporator from the liquid for 10 minutes with the same heating and ventilation system settings as before cleaning.
- Replace the pollen filter.
The spilled cleaner should be wiped using a damp cloth and water.
