Leather Colour Prep is a product designed to remove finishes from natural leather.

It plays an key role in the skin dyeing process, softening it by removing the old hard coating of clear coat and paint, creating a base for the adoption of new finishes.

Step 1 Well clean your skin of dirt with products such as Leather Pro Cleaner or Leather Foam Cleaner, which you will find in our other auctions.

Step 2 Remove old finishes with Leather Colour Prep using a cloth or matting pad.

Step 3 Prepare the skin for painting. Use Leather Grease Remover and remove any residue of dissolved paint and varnish.

Step 4 Use a sponge or spray gun to apply Leather Pro Colourant paint to the skin.

Step 5 Secure the painted coating by applying Leather Top Finish lacquer.

For 6 days after repair, do not clean or preserve the skin.
