Compared to the iCar series, the vLinker series fully supports FORScan (MS CAN, HS CAN), which makes it not only a diagnostic tool, but also changes in car parameters.

The Vgate vLinker FD+ interface is recommended by the creators of the FORScan program!

It supports 99% of models after 2000 and about 92% of models after 1996.

NOTE: The new 2019+ Mazda 3 and CX-30 models are not yet supported.

For new cars from 2021, FORSCan may offer limited capabilities.

What are we able to program using the vLinker FD+ BT 4.0 interface with the FORScan application?

For example, we are able to program the following functions:

• automatic switching on of wipers in case of precipitation detection;
• reverse warning sound;
• heating of the windscreen;
• automatic locking of the vehicle door after exceeding a certain speed;
• automatic closing of windows when closing the car;
• Enabling/disabling the auto start/stop function;
• automatic folding of mirrors;
• warning at too high a speed;
• illumination of bends;
• TPMS activation (tire pressure monitoring system);
• activation of cruise control;
• digital speedometer;
• closing the windows from the remote control;
• assisting in moving uphill;
• and much more.

Please note that the list of available options depends on your car!

The interface works with all phones that have bluetooth with Android and iOS, as well as Windows.

The interface will also work with universal applications for diagnostics of all car models in basic functions.

The interface is a universal device and works with almost all models of vehicles with a standard OBD2 connector.

Europe: from 2001 year cars with petrol engine, from 2004 year cars with diesel engine.

Cars equipped with OBDII system have:

• characteristic 16-pin connector,
• two or more oxygen sensors (probe λ),
• should have a sticker informing about exhaust emissions, which is most often placed in most vehicles under the hood or at the radiator. This sticker has information whether the vehicle is OBDII certified.

The mere possession of a characteristic connector by the vehicle is not an indicator of OBDII system operation - all 3 of the above conditions must be met.
