Turn your Wi-Fi into true hi-fi

The Bluesound ecosystem uses your home Wi-Fi network not only to stream music, but also to communicate between BluOS-enabled players on it. The ecosystem allows you to connect up to 64 players, and using the BluOS Controller app, you can play your music on them with full synchronization, or listen to different music in each room at the same time. Thanks to the use of advanced technologies, BluOS enables wireless transmission of lossless 24-bit/192 kHz audio at lightning speed, without delays or any loss of sound quality.

Alexa voice control

The introduction of voice control gives users of BluOS-compatible devices even more options for managing high-res music and the entire multiroom system. Using voice commands you can, m.in : switch between inputs on any BluOS player, select a music service, or control playback from your own music library shared on your home network. Supported commands include play/pause, next/previous, shuffle, play/stop, and playlist management for most user libraries and music services.

Voice control capabilities extend far beyond managing music playback. Using the power of Alexa AI (and depending on the active music service), you can, m.in : ask what is currently playing or what song we will hear next, what album the recording is from, and find out who the artist is. The list of available commands will expand as new voice control functionalities are added to various music services.

PULSE 2i is the most dynamic speaker in Bluesound's range and in its latest version it has gained even more power. Completely new speaker technology combined with a digital amplifier with a total power of 150 W guarantees incredible sound capabilities, especially in the low frequency range, while reducing distortion levels. Inside the elegant, compact housing, designers have placed two 133mm woofers and two improved 25mm tweeters, which provide a wider optimal listening area.

High-quality sound is also achieved thanks to an advanced DSP system that expands the true stereo sound field far beyond the limitations of other all-in-one speakers. These fantastic acoustic capabilities are supported by a high-end digital-to-analog converter, which allows decoding and streaming high-res files in a lossless format.

PULSE 2i stands out for its easy and extremely wide access to music, thanks to its built-in network functions. Simply connect the speaker to the Internet, either wired (Gigabit Ethernet) or wirelessly (dual-band Wi-Fi 2.4/5 GHz), to listen to music from internet radio stations or online music services. And this is not the end of the device's capabilities. With AirPlay 2, users can stream audio from their iPhone or iPad directly to a Bluesound Generation 2i unit – simply by having access to one Gen 2i device, any AirPlay-compatible iOS app becomes a potential audio source for the Bluesound ecosystem. The PULSE 2i's functionality is enhanced by two-way Bluetooth, allowing you to stream music to and from the speaker. Thanks to the aptX® HD codec, you can enjoy the highest possible sound quality even when playing recordings wirelessly. Additionally, PULSE 2i is also compatible with the Amazon Alexa virtual voice assistant.

Hassle-free operation

PULSE 2i users will appreciate not only the speaker's sound capabilities, but also its ease of use. The device can be controlled via an application or a touch panel. To manage basic functions, m.in : changing the volume level, you can also use the remote control, e.g. Interoperability with other devices is enabled by optical and analog inputs, a USB type A input and a headphone output.
