The golden-eyed hero Vegano - are extremely voracious Chrysoperla Carnea larvae used for biological control of plant pests such as: aphids, thrips, whiteflies and woollens. One larva can destroy up to several hundred individuals of the pest, thanks to which they effectively protect plants without the use of chemicals.

✅ Packaging and preparation method:

The product is sent in a special sachet protecting the larvae during transport along with a cooling cartridge. The set also includes a small carton.

✔ After receiving the shipment, gently pour the contents of the larvae sachet into the attached small carton. And then hang the carton on the plant with pests.

✅ Date of application:

The product can be used from late spring to early autumn (in greenhouse conditions throughout the season). The application temperature should be from 15 to 30°C.

✅ Method of application:

✔ Sprinkle the contents near the plant or pour it into the included carton and hang it on the plant, avoiding direct sunlight.

✔ For best results, it is recommended to spread the larvae directly on the leaves or at the base of the main shoot

✔ The product should be used as soon as possible after receipt

One pack of 200 larvae is enough for about 10m² of low plants (up to 60 cm in height), approx. 5 m² taller plants or hedges (up to 100 cm), approx. 10 potted plants.

Ants can limit the effectiveness of larvae because they protect aphid colonies. For best results, it is recommended to limit their presence near plants.

✅ Instructions for storage

After receipt of the product, the packaging should be removed from the insulating transport packaging. It is recommended to use Carna as soon as possible after receiving. If you want to store the bag after receiving it, you can do it for a maximum of 1 day in a dark and airy place at 12-14°C. Do not refrigerate.

What pests does the product Złotooki Hero Vegano work on?

The product is intended for biological and 100% natural control of pests such as aphids, thrips, whiteflies and woollens. The live gold-eyed larvae (Chrysoperla carnea) contained in the package feed on these insects, leading to their gradual elimination. This method is completely safe for humans, pets and beneficial insects, including bees.

How should larvae be applied to plants?

The contents of the sachet should be gently poured into the included small carton, and then hung on the plant in a place free from direct sunlight. The larvae can also be scattered directly on the leaves or at the base of the main shoot of the attacked plant. This procedure is recommended to be carried out as soon as possible after receiving the package.

How large is one package (200 larvae) enough for?

One package is enough to protect about 10 m² of low plants (up to 60 cm in height) or about 5 m² for higher crops and hedges (up to 100 cm). If you plan to use the product at home or on the balcony, this amount will allow you to protect about 10 potted plants.

How do I store a product if I cannot use it right away?

Due to the presence of living organisms, larvae should be released immediately after receiving the consignment. As an exception, the product can be stored for a maximum of 1 day in a dark and airy place at 12-14°C. Under no circumstances should the sachet be placed in the refrigerator, and due to its short shelf life, the product is non-refundable.

In what conditions and when is it best to use this preparation?

Gold-eyed trees can be introduced into the garden from late spring to early autumn, while in hobby greenhouses they can be used throughout the season. The optimum air temperature during application should be between 15 and 30°C. The product works great both prophylactically and in the case of a massive pest attack.
