Sodium ascorbate , also known as sodium salt of ascorbic acid, is an odorless, granular or crystalline white powder with a tendency to turn yellow. It is characterized by a slightly salty taste.

Sodium ascorbate acts as an antioxidant, acidity regulator and stabilizer.

Sodium ascorbate is a source of vitamin C.

Vitamin C plays a very important role in the functioning of the entire body:
