Description of diving mask SEAC ONE

Seac One is a mask designed for diving, but it works equally well during snorkeling, freediving or underwater hunting (it also comes in camouflage colors ONE CAMO).

It is a diving mask with two symmetrical tempered glass lenses, a polycarbonate frame and an anatomical apron made of hypoallergenic soft silicone. The strap is easy to adjust thanks to the "Easy Touch" buckle with release button.

The Seac One mask has the ability to attach corrective lenses in it, which allows you to adjust the mask to your own vision defect. Corrective lenses are sold separately - currently available corrective lenses can be checked among our offers by going to the "All items of the seller" option and there entering the password in the search engine, e.g. THEY GLASS. It is worth buying a mask with mounted glasses because replacing them yourself requires experience and practice.

HOW TO TRY ON A diving mask

The mask is worth checking whether it fits well and whether it maintains tightness.

1. Tilt the strap and apply the mask to your face without putting the strap on your head.
2. Make sure the mask apron doesn't roll up anywhere.
3. Make sure that no hair gets between the apron (silicone) and the skin of the face.
4. With the mask applied to the face, you should draw in the air with your nose and all the time drawing in the air you should try to tear the mask away from the face.

If left without a problem means that the mask is not suitable for us and you should try with a different model of mask.

If left with difficulty it means that it seals well. While we are comfortable in it and there are no other factors that bother us, it means that it is the right product for us.

USE

If the fitting was made according to the instructions and the mask was sealed, and yet during use water got inside, the reasons may be as follows:

1. The nasal lip filth is either deep or so arranged during smiling that water enters the mask. Everyone has such furrows, so you can not completely eliminate such a risk.
2. Moustache - if during the fitting the mustache was shaved and during use it grew, then they may be the cause of water entering the mask.
3. Strap too tight or too loose or crookedly drawn. If the mask strap is pulled too tight, the mask apron rolls out, reduces the contact surface with the face and increases the risk of water entering the mask. Too loosely drawn strap does not hold the mask well enough and wavy water, or exhaled air can repel the mask from the face enough that water will get inside the mask. The crooked strap pulls the mask to the side of the face during swimming and can also cause water to enter the mask.
4. A roll-up apron masks.
