Description of diving mask SEAC ONE
Seac One is a mask designed for diving, but it works equally well during snorkeling, freediving or underwater hunting (it also comes in camouflage colors ONE CAMO).
It is a diving mask with two symmetrical tempered glass lenses, a polycarbonate frame and an anatomical apron made of hypoallergenic soft silicone. The strap is easy to adjust thanks to the "Easy Touch" buckle with release button.
The Seac One mask has the ability to attach corrective lenses in it, which allows you to adjust the mask to your own vision defect. Corrective lenses are sold separately - currently available corrective lenses can be checked among our offers by going to the "All items of the seller" option and there entering the password in the search engine, e.g. THEY GLASS. It is worth buying a mask with mounted glasses because replacing them yourself requires experience and practice.

HOW TO TRY ON A DIVING MASK
It is worth checking the mask to see if it fits well and maintains a tight seal.
- Fold back the strap and place the mask on your face without placing the strap over your head.
- Make sure the skirt of the mask is not rolled up anywhere.
- Make sure that no hair gets between the apron (silicone) and the facial skin.
- With the mask placed on your face, inhale through your nose and, while still inhaling, try to tear the mask away from your face.
If it comes off without a problem , it means that the mask is not suitable for you and you should try a different mask model.
If it comes off with difficulty , it means it is sealing well. As long as we are comfortable in it and there are no other factors that bother us, it means that it is the right product for us.
USE
If the fitting was performed according to the instructions and the mask sealed, but water got inside during use, the reasons may be as follows:
- The nasolabial folds are either deep or arranged in such a way when smiling that water enters the mask. Everyone has these wrinkles, so it is impossible to completely eliminate this risk.
- Mustache - if the mustache was shaved during fitting and grew during use, it may cause water to get inside the mask.
- Belt too tight, too loose or crooked. If the mask strap is pulled too tight, the mask skirt will roll outwards, reducing the contact area with the face and increasing the risk of water entering the mask. If the strap is too loose, it will not hold the mask securely and the rippling water or exhaled air may push the mask away from your face enough to allow water to enter the mask. A crooked strap pulls the mask to the side of the face while swimming and can also cause water to enter the mask.
