TX-NR7100 offering support for 9.2 channels, as well as built-in, ready-to-use DIRAC Live room correction, the device is THX certified, gives new meaning to the expression "home movie night". The TX-NR7100 AV receiver provides uncompressed image transfer with a resolution of 8K/4K with data transfer of 40 Gbps, increasing bandwidth compared to its predecessors. Wireless audio signal transmission can be via Apple AirPlay 2, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. TX-NR7100 works with Sonos, DTS Play-Fi, Google Chromecast Google Assistant, and Amazon Alexa. DIRAC LIVE® ROOM CORRECTION

Dirac Live® is a digital room acoustic correction technology that uses advanced analysis of speakers and the listening room to optimize the sound reproduction of your speakers and remove the coloration introduced by the room. Thanks to this, the sound stage, clarity of sounds, readability of vocals and depth and speed of bass are improved.

THX® Certified

In 1993, Onkyo became the first consumer home theater electronics brand to receive THX certification. With literally thousands of tests before you get the THX certification logo. The 8K delivers an incredibly immersive viewing experience with twice the horizontal and vertical resolution of 4K and 4 times the pixel count; and combined with a 60Hz refresh rate, it enables smooth and sharp viewing of content with fast action. Works with Sonos

The Onkyo TX-NR7100 receiver can join an existing Sonos home sound system or become the beginning of a new one simply by pairing it with the Sonos* port. It works with Sonos-certified audio-video receivers and offers best-in-class connection to the Sonos ecosystem, wake up, change inputs, and play at the right volume using Sonos Volume-Pass Through in the Sonos app*. The TX-NR7100 can work with up to three Sonos ports — one for each of the three independent zones — each playing a completely different streaming service from Sonos Radio.

Two-way Bluetooth technology

The TX-NR7100 can send and receive audio via Bluetooth wireless technology. This allows you to wirelessly transmit audio signal to the receiver using SBC or AAC codecs or transmit audio played by Onkyo to compatible wireless headphones using SBC, aptX codecs, including 24-bit audio over aptX HD. Enhanced Bluetooth data transfer capabilities ensure clear and reliable audio playback, so you can hear your favorite songs as intended by the audio engineer.

Built-in network player

Access to Spotify, TIDAL, Deezer, TuneIn and Pandora is built into the system. Use dedicated apps (if available) or the free Onkyo Control app for Apple and Android devices to find and play music.

DTS Play-Fi

DTS Play-Fi allows you to enjoy high-quality music from connected online services, network media servers and a library of devices over Wi-Fi® to any number of compatible products using the Onkyo Music Control app for iPad, iPhone and Android smartphones/tablets. DTS Play-Fi can sync music in any room. Each member of your family can use their own device to listen to their music in a room or group of rooms. Functionality

A modern home theater receiver is the real brain of a home multi-channel audio system. The KD receiver combines not only a preamplifier, radio receiver and multi-channel power amplifier, but also image processing, multiroom, streaming player and phono preamplifier.

The most advanced designs also offer excellent sound in stereo and multi-zone multiroom from both the preamplifier and power amplifiers – with independent volume control and source matching. Similarly, in terms of image – 2 independent video zones are the standard in the most expensive constructions.

Even less advanced home theater receivers offer streaming digital audio files via the front USB port from a pendrive or hard drive and over the Ethernet.

To make it easier to control such feature-rich central units, manufacturers used to provide free applications for tablets and smartphones that without a remote control allow you to conveniently control any function from anywhere in the house.
