STANDARD ACCESSORIES AND CALIBRATION CERTIFICATE INCLUDED

Calibration certificate is a document issued by the manufacturer in the production process of the meter confirming the granting of metrological properties and maintaining measurement consistency. This is a document issued only for brand new measuring instruments.

On the calibration certificate there is a place to enter the date of commissioning, this is the date of sale of the meter. Another execution of the metrological confirmation (calibration) is recommended to be carried out within 12 months from the date of purchase, but not later than 24 months from the date of manufacture. When purchasing at our auctions, you are entitled to a 10% discount on the next calibration in our laboratory.

As one of the few meters on the market, Sonel MPI-525 has the ability to measure insulation resistance with voltage up to 2500 V. In addition, the instrument allows automatic measurement of insulation resistance of 3-, 4- or 5-wire wires or cables using the optional AutoISO-2500 adapter.

Using the MPI-525 meter, precise measurement of short-circuit loop impedance (resolution 0,01Ω) in L-PE circuits in networks with RCD circuit breakers can be performed. Another valuable function of the device is the ability to measure the actual actuation time and operating current of the RCD circuit breaker with a single actuation of the circuit breaker.

The meter is characterized by wide possibilities in the field of functionality. It combines the measurement capabilities of several devices, while ensuring equally good accuracy. The instrument can perform all acceptance measurements of electrical installations in accordance with applicable regulations:

• Short-circuit loop impedance (also in circuits with RCD circuit breakers),

Insulation control with voltage 2,5 kV

A unique feature of the meter is the ability to measure insulation resistance with voltage up to 2500 V. In addition, using the AutoISO-2500 adapter, the user will check the RISO of 3-, 4- and 5-wire wires and cables.

The device has a built-in stopwatch. It has the ability to set three times of conducting and reading measurement results (from the range of 1...600 s). In addition, it automatically calculates two absorption coefficients.

In order to ensure the safety of the user, after completing or interrupting the measurement, the instrument automatically discharges the test object.

Installation security check

Thanks to the device, you can control home and industrial electrical installations in terms of safety. Measurements can be easily automated by:

• testing of residual current circuit breakers in Auto mode,
• using the AutoISO-2500 adapter to test the insulation resistance of 3-, 4- and 5-wire cables.

Increased resistance to environmental conditions

The meter will cope well in difficult environmental conditions. Protection against dust and water ingress is provided by a unique housing with IP54 protection level. It is resistant to mechanical damage, and the special design allows you to easily secure the display by moving the meter cover. In addition to protecting against damage, it also allows you to comfortably carry and use the device in various positions.

Communication and software

Through the USB port or via wireless communication, you can transfer measurement data to your computer. In order to generate a test report in the field of shock protection, use the Sonel Electrical Measurements program. Writing downloaded resources to the simplest formats and printing is provided by Sonel Reader.
