The successor of the prestigious model "Neotec". The new version of the helmet offers many features that re-create a new era of jaw helmets. It is worth mentioning that this is the first helmet of the SHOEI brand, which has been fully adapted to a dedicated communication system. Particular attention of helmet designers was directed towards safety, followed by comfort and an improved jaw system.

Thanks to the design of a more convex coating, SHOEI was able to apply an inner layer of EPS in the forehead area with exactly the same density as in other parts of the head. A definite advantage of shell construction and EPS is that even despite the use of an integrated sunscreen blend, forehead protection is at the highest level.

Improved jaw system

The innovative, improved jaw system provides dual P/J homologation, which allows you to ride with an open jaw. The jaw locking system is made of durable stainless steel. In addition, the jaw is equipped with an easy-to-use slider blocking the jaw position.

Advanced aerodynamics and ventilation

Neotec II is the ideal choice for touring motorcyclists, thanks to its newly developed ventilation system. Compared to its predecessor, helmet ventilation now has 3 front air intakes that deliver fresh air to the helmet while draining hot air into the rear outlets. The rear ventilation system with 3 air outlets has also found its use as a spoiler and "throws" hot air out of the helmet. The spoiler provides aerodynamics and control over air flow.

Comfortable tourism

Innovative soundproofing cheek pads have been placed in the air tunnel for reducing turbulence and for a quieter and more comfortable journey. The buckled helmet in combination with the chin guard provide protection against air getting in from the bottom of the helmet. All elements are removable, so you can easily and quickly clean the helmet.

AIM technology

The helmet shell made in AIM technology not only offers incredibly low weight and comfort, but also provides the best possible head protection on impact. Thanks to the interaction of strength and flexibility of individual elements, AIM technology has been designed so that the impact energy is absorbed and distributed over the entire surface of the outer shell and the inner EPS layer. Although both the outer shell and EPS foam may show damage after an accident, the rider’s head remains intact.

Aerodynamics

The pressure exerted on the neck muscles while riding does not only come from the weight of the helmet, but above all from the resistance of the air that the rider has to deal with while riding. For this reason, improving the aerodynamic properties of the helmet is an important factor in preventing driver fatigue. The product development department at SHOEI regularly performs tests in its own wind tunnels to ensure optimal aerodynamic properties for helmets.
