SCHUBERTH C5 is the latest generation jaw helmet and the first SCHUBERTH model with double homologation (P/J), meeting the requirements of the new ECE-R 22.06 standard.

SCHUBERTH C5 combines the highest level of safety, outstanding aerodynamics and aeroacoustics, and a compact and slim design, taking the next step in the development of the timeless and iconic helmet philosophy of the “C” line.

NEW ERA OF JAW HELMETS

SCHUBERTH C5 is the result of:

• 23 000 hours of engineers' work,
• 2000 helmets tested in aerodynamic and weather laboratories,
• more than 300 hours of testing in real road conditions.

PERPETUAL EVOLUTION

SCHUBERTH C5 is lighter but safer. It has a more modern and aggressive appearance, while providing incredible acoustic comfort.

OUTSTANDING ACOUSTIC PROPERTIES

The engineers spent more than 200 hours in the SCHUBERTH aeroacoustic tunnel, optimizing the shape of the helmet shell. These tests, combined with a new flange design that provides exemplary tightness of the lower part of the helmet and around the neck, allowed to achieve an excellent result of 85 dB(A) at 100 km/h on a naked motorcycle.

NEW AIR INTAKE

• Two air intakes on the jaw.
• The additional inlet features a replaceable, easy-to-wash filter, making it easy to breathe in extreme conditions.
• Convenient buttons for easy operation of inlets.

NEW VENTILATION SYSTEM

Close cooperation:

• Double ventilation inlet on the jaw.
• A new rear spoiler, under which a ventilation outlet is placed.
• Exposed ventilation ducts in EPS.

THE CONCEPT OF SCHUBERTH INDIVIDUAL

People with more unusual head shapes usually had to compromise on fit and size selection. The C5 allows you to change the thickness of the side and back padding, making the inside of the helmet more oval or more round in shape. In addition, we can change the thickness of the cheek pads. (Change in the thickness of the central padding is possible in sizes M/L/XL)

SECURITY FIRST

SCHUBERTH C5 has dual homologation (P/J) and ECE-R 22.06. This means a new fiberglass DFP shell, reinforced with a single layer of Carbon for better energy absorption and weight reduction.

The C5 has an A.R.O.S. system to prevent the helmet from rolling off the head during an accident, but with a new, improved strap position for increased comfort in the throat area.

MESH 2.0

Thanks to Mesh 2.0 technology, the SCHUBERTH SC2 communication system redefines the concept of a “communication network”.

Mesh 2.0 technology will allow you to connect with virtually unlimited audiences. What’s more, the system has the latest and most advanced HD headphones in the SENA offer and a microphone, noise reduction technology, virtual assistant and range comparable to the top products available on the market.

COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

Fabulously simple to assemble, configure and use, the SC2 intercom takes motorcycle communication to a new level. HD headphones and three antennas: for FM radio, Bluetooth Intercom and Mesh Intercom, are already pre-installed in the SCHUBERTH C5 helmet.

Installation of SC2:

• Plug in the HD microphone,
• remove the caps on the side and back of the helmet,
• In their place, attach the remote control and the control panel.

VIEWFINDER WITH MEMORY FUNCTION

The position memory function presented in the visor of the E1 helmet has been implemented into the viewfinder of the C5 model.

Thanks to this, the position in which the viewfinder will be left will be preserved after opening and closing the jaw again.
