Sena 60X is the latest generation of motorcycle intercom designed for motorcyclists who expect maximum quality communication, reliability and excellent sound on every journey. The device combines the latest Sena communication technologies with efficient electronics, extensive configuration options and extremely simple operation.

The Model 60X is designed for both daily commutes and multi-day motorcycle trips. Thanks to support for Mesh Intercom 3.0 technology, classic Bluetooth Intercom and Wave Intercom communication over the Internet, the user can stay connected in virtually any situation.

Mesh Intercom 3.0 technology enables the creation of a stable communication network between motorcyclists. The system automatically manages connections, so that the momentary leaving of the group by one of the participants does not require manual re-pairing of the entire network.

In Open Mesh mode, the user can choose one of the 6 available channels and join a virtually unlimited number of participants. It is suitable for large groups, motorcycle clubs, expeditions and open rides.

Group Mesh mode allows you to create a private communication group for up to 24 participants. The conversation takes place only between invited users.

The declared range of a single Mesh connection is up to 2 km in open ground. In a larger group of motorcycles travelling at appropriate intervals, the range of the entire network may be increased by transmitting a signal between subsequent devices.

Wave Intercom – unlimited radio coverage

The Wave Intercom function enables communication via the Internet and the smartphone’s mobile network. Allows you to talk to users outside the standard Bluetooth or Mesh intercom range.

The number of Wave Intercom participants is virtually unlimited. The function requires connection of the device with a smartphone, active access to the Internet and appropriate cellular coverage.

Bluetooth Intercom and Smartphone Connectivity

Sena 60X uses Bluetooth 5.3 technology. The classic Bluetooth Intercom allows you to have a conversation in a group of up to 4 people, and the declared connection range is up to 2 km in open ground.

Sound by BOSE – high quality sound in helmet

The Sound by BOSE audio system is designed for clear speech transmission and high-quality music playback. The set uses speakers with a diameter of 40 mm and a thickness of 9 mm.

Proper placement of speakers inside the helmet is crucial for sound quality. They should be as close as possible to the user’s ears. The set includes pads that allow you to adjust the position of the speakers to the design of the helmet interior.

Noise reduction based on artificial intelligence

Sena 60X uses AI-based Noise Cancellation, a noise reduction system based on artificial intelligence algorithms. The technology helps to separate the user’s voice from wind, engine and ambient noise, improving the readability of conversations while driving. The effectiveness of noise reduction depends, among other things, on the type of helmet, microphone position, driving speed, height of the motorcycle window and the level of air turbulence.

Parallel Architecture Dual Core

The dual-core Parallel Architecture Dual Core architecture allows the device to efficiently handle parallel connections and various audio sources. The solution is designed for seamless switching between communication, music, navigation and phone calls.

Improved voice control

Intercom is equipped with a new generation of voice command support. It allows you to control the most important functions without removing your hands from the steering wheel. This is especially useful when answering calls, starting an intercom, changing settings, or handling music being played.

Magnetic mounting system

The central unit Sena 60X is attached to the base using a magnetic system. This allows you to quickly mount or remove the device, for example, before charging or leaving the motorcycle in the parking lot. The single set includes two mounting buckles for the helmet. This allows you to prepare two helmets to use one central unit. After moving the module between the helmets, you do not have to disassemble the entire installation of the speakers and microphone each time.

Water resistance IPX7

The device housing meets the requirements of class IPX7. The intercom is adapted for use in rain and changing weather conditions.

IPX7 rating refers to the resistance of the unit according to the conditions specified by the manufacturer. Before charging, make sure that the device and the USB-C port are dry.

Sena Motorcycles app and OTA updates

Intercom works with the Sena Motorcycles application available for Android and iOS devices. The application allows you to configure the device, manage settings, support communication functions and install software updates.

Thanks to Over-the-Air technology, updates can be installed wirelessly through the application, without the need to connect the intercom to the computer every time.

Radio FM

Sena 60X has a built-in FM radio receiver. The function allows you to listen to radio stations without having to start audio transmission from your smartphone.

Compatibility with different types of helmets

The set includes two types of microphones:

microphone on a flexible headband, suitable, among others, for open and jaw helmets,

Wired microphone, designed primarily for integral helmets.

The included mounting hardware allows you to install the intercom on multiple types of motorcycle helmets. Depending on the shell design, a mounting buckle or glued plate can be used.

NOTE!

Due to the lower voltage of 5V, other, more powerful chargers must not be used to charge the control panel. SENA intercoms are only compatible with 5V USB chargers. A third-party USB charger can only be used with SENA products if that charger is approved by the FCC, CE, IC or other locally approved agencies that Sena accepts. Using an unapproved charger can cause fire, explosion, leakage and other hazards, it can also reduce battery life or performance.

Unlike motorcycle navigation, most car navigations do not have the option of connecting to the intercom and sending messages to it, so there may be a situation in which the SENA intercom does not connect to your car navigation.

If you use the included WIFI cable to charge and update the software, remember not to plug it into the USB outlet of your computer or laptop. The cable with WIFI adapter can only be connected to a network USB charger.
