KYT R1R Get ready for MotoGP-inspired riding! Designed and developed in Italy using the most advanced digital tools, this dynamic design has undergone rigorous testing with KYT team drivers to ensure top performance. The helmet boasts improved aerodynamics, thanks to more than three years of wind tunnel testing and intensive road and track testing. All this to optimize aerodynamics in different driving positions – straight, braking and cornering – for maximum driver comfort. Vertical and peripheral field of view of 90 and 210 degrees respectively, "Hydrocool textile" fabric, viewfinder mechanism with rototranslation system and viewfinder locking mechanism "Racing Lock System" made of metal alloy, the most stringent used by MotoGP drivers. The R1R is the perfect helmet for the road and track. The shell is made of TRICOMPOSITE fiber – a new composite that allows you to get a lighter, yet harder and more protective shell. This new composite is a blend of carbon fiber, aramid fibers and fiberglass with varying weight/break strength for a lightweight yet much more impact-resistant shell. The R1R is produced in three different shell sizes: S, M and L. The padding is available in three sizes (S, M and L) for better ergonomics and is designed with variable density. This feature allows for gradual and progressive absorption of energy generated during impact. Although most of the impact energy is absorbed by the outer shell, due to its deformation, polystyrene plays a key role in the absorption of residual energy. The variable density of polystyrene in different impact zones optimizes the mechanical properties of the shell, ensuring the highest level of safety. The polycarbonate viewfinder, injected, scratch-resistant, variable thickness, optical class 1, is easy to disassemble thanks to a tool-free system. The rotational-translational mechanism provides greater strength during closing. The viewfinder is also equipped with a metal locking mechanism "Racing Lock System". This mechanism reduces the risk of the viewfinder detaching in the event of an accident. R1R is suitable for mounting rip-offs. The PINLOCK R1R is equipped with the PINLOCK® MAX VISION 70. Ventilation is provided by an efficient system consisting of an air intake in the jaw, a large front air intake and two side outlets that work together to achieve maximum comfort. The system works in conjunction with a network of integrated channels that provide excellent airflow inside the helmet. The aerodynamic spoiler also acts as an air extractor, thanks to the Venturi effect provided by the rear lifts placed under it. The cheek pads and inner comfort padding can be removed, washed and replaced. They are made of high-quality "Hydrocool Textile" fabric with special fibers that offer the following features: - They allow for quick heat dissipation from the head. - Keeps skin cool and dry. - They have a special hygienic treatment. Cheek pads are easily removed in an emergency thanks to the quick release system. The chin strap is equipped with a fastening system with a double D-ring made of stainless steel.
