KYT

NZ-RACE, a KYT full face helmet made of three-composite material derived from Kyt’s experience in the racing world.

The shapes have been thoroughly analyzed, through fluid dynamics software and through multiple sessions in the wind tunnel, as well as on the track with KYT riders, to achieve the best performance in aerodynamics, ventilation and comfort, while strengthening the stylistic aspect characterized, according to tradition, by dynamic streamlined shapes.

In particular, the spoiler has been carefully designed to achieve excellent results in both aerodynamics and comfort.

Ventilation has also been carefully optimized to ensure efficient diffusion of fresh air inside the helmet and offer, in symbiosis with the delicate interior, moisture drainage inside the helmet. The visor is in optical class 1 and guarantees a wide peripheral and vertical field of view, respectively 210° and 90°; anti-scratch treatment, Pinlock® Max Vision 70 anti-fog lens and reference lightness complete the equipment at the highest level, suitable for both professional use on the track and pure fun on the road.

SHELL

 

The shell is made in two sizes (M and L) and is made of Tri-Fiber composite, a blend of Kevlar, carbon and fiberglass to provide better impact resistance and less weight.

PROTECTIVE POLYSTYRENE

The inner polystyrene is made of 3 different sizes to get the best ergonomics at different thicknesses. This feature allows for gradual and progressive absorption of the impact force resulting from the impact. Although most of the energy caused by impact is absorbed by the outer protective coating due to its deformation, the role of polystyrene is decisive for the absorption of residual energy.

VIEWFINDER

 

The visor is made of polycarbonate of different thickness in optical class 1 and with anti-scratch treatment. The visor is easily removable, thanks to a practical mechanism that does not require any tool.

PINLOCK®

NZ-RACE is equipped with Antifog Pinlock® Max Vision 70.

VENTILATION

Internal polystyrene is tested to work in symbiosis with 3 front air intakes on the shell. Special channels on the EPS allow air to flow non-stop, providing excellent ventilation inside the helmet and quick hot air drainage through the lifts at the back, under the aerodynamic spoiler.

INNERS

 

The inserts are removable and washable, made of delicate and soft fiber fabrics that together with special sponges facilitate airflow, keeping the part in contact with the face dry and fresh. Cheeck inserts are prepared for Bluetooth headphones, have an emergency system that allows them to be quickly removed if necessary and have a predisposition to "wear glasses".

RETENTION SYSTEM

 

The retention system used is a "Double D-RING" made of light alloy.
