As you may have noticed, 95% of dash cams on the market do not have a built-in battery to keep the device running after the car's ignition is turned off. If they do have one, it's usually very small and only lasts for a maximum of a dozen minutes.

Unfortunately, after this time, the dash cam can no longer perform its primary function and will not record an impact from another vehicle.

Thanks to our power supply, you can stop worrying. Your camera will remain on standby, drawing power from the car's main battery, even after you turn off the engine and leave the vehicle.

Classically, the video recorder is connected to a car cigarette lighter. Unfortunately, this ignition shutdown, in most cars the cigarette lighter power is cut off and thus the recorder also.

The adapter we offer can be guided under the upholstery and release only the tip directly at the recorder to avoid unnecessary wiring as in the case of a classic charger.

To install the power supply, locate the fuse box of the internal equipment. Positive cable (RED) we need to connect to the positive pole of the fuse, which we chose as the power source. It must be a fuse that maintains power when the ignition is turned off.

Another cable, negative (BLACK) is installed as a mass, e.g. on the body. It can be a screw fixing the dashboard frame or one to which other masses are connected.

All cables are best guided under plastic covers, headliner or window posts so that the installation is invisible.
