Why is a chelated product more effective? The chelated form of minerals improves their absorption, protects our body against deficiencies, poisoning or too high saturation of the body with elements that are easy to overdose.
What is chelation? Chelation is the binding of one mineral to two amino acids (or organic acids). This organic form of minerals is found in nature, e.g. in the leaves of plants. The absorption of amino acids is a natural process for the body, without harming the body's digestive tract as irritation of the mucous membranes of the stomach and intestines. Chelated minerals (unlike ordinary minerals) do not irritate the mucous membrane of the stomach and intestines during digestive processes.
